A Baby Shower For Two

Baby showers are one of the most special times for any mommy-to-be. They can also be a bit nerve-racking to say the least. There are a lot of variables that can cause these events to become very stressful. Fast approaching due dates, bed rest — you name it. Sometimes, planning the perfect shower feels like trying to hit a moving target.

Case in point here. This soon-to-be mommy of two had a very small and rapidly closing window of opportunity for a shower to be thrown in her honour. Having just come home after a 3-week stint in the maternity unit of the hospital, we had to get this shower planned and organized as quickly as possible. Who knew when she would actually deliver? All we knew was that it was going to be soon.

When all was said and done, the party was a huge success. The little girl theme really helped set the tone for the arrival of mommy and daddy’s brand new baby girls. There were many games that had all the guests, both women AND men, laughing and simply thrilled they were able to be a part of this glorious day.

One week later, mommy gave birth to 2 of the most beautiful little girls.
